Carol Welch Mr. White U3/A1 03/25/2012 Changing Shifts Five long time ago, I was a c aregiver assisting with the daily tasks of the elderly, mentally disabled, physically challenged, and those in various stages of rehabilitation. As required I had to be in good physical condition, rent access to buffer transportation, and most important, enjoy helping those in need. Well, its now 2012, 5 years later, and my line of excogitate have changed somewhat. I am now a kinsperson wellness aide-de-camp, assisting the mentally challenged in a community setting, whereas before as a caregiver, I was come outlet to clients post. Also in a community setting, I am under the supervision of a nurse and sometime a social role player. Its important to remember that a home wellness aide and a personal care aide are different professions, but both of these professions deal with elderly, handicapped, and tear down the mentally disabled.
